Assessing Training Requirements

All of our IT user training is bespoke. Before recommending a training solution it is essential to understand the business needs and capabilities of the individuals involved. Sometimes this can be achieved through a discussion with departmental managers, the individuals to be trained or the business owner. On other occasions we conduct a more formal training needs analysis.

Training Needs Analysis
Training Needs Analysis takes the guesswork out of training. By conducting a detailed assessment of requirements we are able to:

  • Avoid 'training for the sake of training'
  • Provide individual development plans for each member of staff
  • Minimise time away from the workplace
  • Reduce training costs

The effectiveness of ATL's Training Needs Analysis has been proven with several large clients such as NHS, WRAP, Subaru, Chartered Institute of Housing as well as SME's including Link Mailing and Eric Delo Removals.

Training Health Check/Walkabout trainer
The ATL Training Health Check service provides clients with on-site training and support. Our Walkabout Trainers are equipped with a broad knowledge of business applications and in-depth software expertise. They provide the following on-site training and support services:

  • Post-course problem solving and troubleshooting
  • One-to-one training
  • Office procedures audit
  • Template creation
  • Directors briefings

This approach maximises the effectiveness of the training, helps identify potential efficiency gains and reduces time away from work.
