The Situation
IM Group is a motor vehicle and parts importer and distributor.  It imports Subaru, Daihatsu and Isuzu cars and distributes them to a dealer network.

In October 2006 the group headquarters were relocation to new offices in Coleshill and the IT Director wanted to change working practices and deploy new facilities and software to support and complement these changes.

It was essential to minimise the day-to-day impact this large project would have on the company.

The Action
The Leadership & Management programme created a clear vision of the work that needed to be done and milestones that needed to be reached.

The whole team were empowered to effectively plan, document and organise the steps necessary to create a successful outcome.

The Results
The necessary software training was delivered to 95 members of staff successfully and the relocation from West Bromwich to Coleshill went without a hitch and on target.

More importantly, there was no impact on the day-to-day running of our company, which is directly attributable to the support IM Group received through the Leadership & Management Programme.
